Coffee shop news 3
The walls are up and painted. We used white, white for ceilings and two different shades of greige for the walls. Some people think it looks dull. But just wait for the fun colours to enter via chairs and artwork!
For now we have a cosy base with grey stained wooden flooring to continue the overall warm and fuzzy feel. This also enlargens the place being very narrow and long! For the counter we applied a cement finish which is not really how I thought it would be.
Restroom- we wanted a clean and simple feel in here with just a hint of "fantasy" with the mosaic, shell encrusted tiles all around the mirror. Still very much work in progress!
The workroom just off to the right of the bar where all the noisy machinery will be used.
This photo is really blurry (I apologise) the bench will be covered in an array of coloured cushions and the wall above will be our Art Gallery wall . We hope to have a monthly turnover of expositions of local artists. It will provide change and interest to the decoration of the place.
