These iron beds are real old ones and you can find them nearly every where here: amazing hein! I had a bed similar to these as I grew up in Australia and my sister too! Who says history doesn't repeat!!!?

Here's a couple of snap shots of the "chambre" of my little princesses! I took advantage of the unusual tidyness!

This doona cover is made with some vintage yardage i found at the local thrift shop! Nobody wants "vintage" here in France for the moment ( it is coming though) so I'm having a feild day finding stuff for nearly nothing!!!! Sarah you have to come over for a shopping spree!!

Hope you liked the visit! do come and play again:)

Beautiful room. Those beds are perfect but unfortunately they are hard to get and pricey over here! I am off to France in July I can't wait to do some thrifting!
Beautiful bedrooms for beautiful girls!! I too am looking for vintage bedframes but they can be pricey. Love the blog. Lucyxx
Hi again.. it has been a while! I stoppped with the blogging for a while, and i think i need to see if i will pick it up again... but yours is doing well it looks like! Man, you have been sOOOOO busy making stuff, like a mad woman! it is great! and really beautiful stuff too!!!!
I remember those beds.. i also remember waking up one morning, "inspired" to paint the ornate flower shapes various shades of purple with oil paints. Needless to say, it wasn't particularly beautiful, neither was dad or mum very happy when they found out..
