Lily of the valley

One of my favourite flowers ,such a lovely perfume from such a small flower! They hide behind relatively large leaves only to be seen by those who take the time to search and pull back the leaves.I've got quite a few plants in my garden now. Everytime I go out to pick a small bouquet it's like finding a treasure!

It's the May flower by excellence and here in France is given to celebrate the 1st of May ; the day of workers.
