Spring is in the air

Can you smell it................................Spring? Le Printemps?

I went for a stroll in my garden and look what I found under the dead dry leaves - LIFE!
Every year it happens again and again but I'm still amazed. It makes my heart hope ,knowing there are better and warmer days ahead!
Especially after all that cold,wet, white, stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice grey linen style fabric for the base material

The fabric with flowery embroidery is actually very pale mauve,sorry for the bad photo!!! Northern light.................. And for the surprise effect...............................................................

Giraffe fake fur, yummy soft fabric for the interieur to keep books nice and warm ;) OR jolie damask style fabric in mauve for a more classic approach. Which one do you prefer?

Do you like the unfinished frayed look or would you prefer clean seams?

Flowers are back!!!!!!!

This christmas my very generous and loving husband gave me a new portable computer ( I was sqautting his every day in his office, very annoying indeed!) It's really great and I use it ALL the time !

It used to be boring and grey and standard but look at it now : a new lease of life!!!!!!
I feel that spring is in the air !!!! Oh .........yes it is!!!!!!

Changing Bags for.............................. dolls!!!!

Look what I've been doing!!!

It all started when my younger daughter , a baby freak , decided that she needed a bag to put all her baby hmmm (doll) stuff together when she's out and about! You know what all good , caring and prepared mums' tend to carry around with them when they have a "baby". We're talking nappies , bottles, extra change for accidents etc.

So what does the mum of a" mum " do in time of need? She gets sewing!!! Well then older daughter needed one and then freind of a freind and a freind of the freind needed one! Which basically means I'm getting pretty good at making these!

A couple of them will be in my Etsy shop this week-end if you know some little person who needs to put their "baby" stuff in order!!!!
