White Christmas!

As I grew up in Australia as a child, I often thought of how wonderful it would be to live on the other side of the world and have a White Christmas!

Where the needles of the Christmas Tree wouldn't drop off by Christmas day and the chocolates that hung on it didn't melt!!!!

We woke up to this !!

Well who says dreams don't come true ........... this year we're having a White one :)

New bag!

From the workshop of L'Atelier de Beaumont another bag is born! 

This time a special order for a girlfreind to whom I had not as yet given her a birthday present ( her birthday is in August!!) We chose the fabric and the style together! Pretty stylish ,non?

Tea poker

What ? you dont play poker while sipping hot English tea?

A "quiet" afternoon playing poker with the kids using monopoly money ofcourse and at one stage "placing " their own watches!! All in all very "bon enfant". :)

Treasure

Look what I found on saturday at our local flea market! Treasure!!!! Six very colonial solid wood chairs

And this gorgeous tan coloured chesterfield poof!

I'll  be painting the chairs ofcourse , what colour do you think?
