Lenais

Meet Lenais! She's a rag doll made with a pattern that my very talented sister (RedPossum)  developed. You can contact her if you wish to buy one in PDF form so there is little delay! Contact her on her blog redpossumgear.blogspot.com or on her shop.

You can make her in whatever colour you desire, skin and hair colour even the eyes. So cute and an original gift idea for your loved one.

I had a lot of fun creating her.......... and her "story".

Lenais is very fond of her bicycle and loves to ride down hills! She loves to eat toasted pink marshmallows by a bonfire on the beach. When she grows up she wants to be a baker!

New girls!

I've been wanting to tell you about these girls for quite a while but never managed to get a photo which really shows them as they really are..........gorgeous!
My daughters have fallen in love with them and the great thing is that I made them with my own little hands !!!

I used this easy pattern designed by my sister who is Redpossum http://redpossum.etsy.com/ where you can buy the pattern ! What a great idea for Christmas presents . And there are so many possibilities , hair colour , skin colour, eye colour . This makes for such a personal gift !
Meet Josephine ; a very helpful and caring gal and is the younger of the two! She has brown hair and brown eyes.
And this is Constance a very curious and sensitive young lady she has blonde hair and green eyes!
Nighty night girls!

Etoile

I know I'm way too early but with this crisp morning air (can you feel it in the photo) makes me think of the cold winter and since I don't do Halloween or Thanksgiving this brings me to Christmas.................I know I'm way too early !!!
It got me just like that while I was sitting at my sewing machine playing with my favourite fabric.........linen. Can you see it?
It looks nice and simple against my black door , pity there are still 3 months to go.
Here it is in all it's raw linen beauty!

Kimono cushions

I recently converted a vintage kimono into some rather dramatic throw cushions!
The fabric is a real work of art! I think they are even real gold and silk threads woven into throughout the fabric. Very luxurious indeed.

If you are interested in these , keep your eyes open in my shop. I'll be putting up some of these very soon!

She drew the flowers, the bird and the butterflies and I sewed them on a very simple dress I made in less than 1 hour!
She's so happy to walk around with her drawing on herself!!
