I love Paris in the springtime

I lived for two years in Paris before getting married and springtime in the French capital brings back so "jolie" souvenirs!
Doesn't this look kind of Parisian? I think pink and black is very Paris!

Inside my studio

I was showing my sister around my workshop while on Skype and she said I should do a tour of my studio for my blog! It's not that spectacular but I like looking at other peoples workshops so why should't I show you around mine?!

See those two little girls there? Cute ? Keep looking to find out more?

If my studio looks so messy it's because I've been busy!!!!!! More on that later............... Those "expedit" shelves from Ikea are so practical.....a great buy for anyone who needs lots of storage in a small place.

Hope you enjoyed the visit! Cup of tea anyone?

Kimono cushions

I recently converted a vintage kimono into some rather dramatic throw cushions!
The fabric is a real work of art! I think they are even real gold and silk threads woven into throughout the fabric. Very luxurious indeed.

If you are interested in these , keep your eyes open in my shop. I'll be putting up some of these very soon!

So where have you been?

Gold panning with world champion gold panner Rocco! YES we found Gold!!!!

One of the nice things about living in Europe is that in a few hours you can be in a totally different country ; speaking another language; eating other foods and seeing different people and environments! The other nice thing about living in Europe is that family is never too far away !

In 3 hours ( flight)we are in Ireland with my sister , and in 12 hours (on the road) we are in Piedmont , Italy where my dad now lives and on the way we can see my husbands' parents who live in Switzerland!
My mum's in Australia which is not on the European continent. Far away you see!

So this here's a little "aperçu" of our school break..........

Swimming in crystal clean waters!Gorgeos walks! These are SO Italian! It's a kind of three wheeled motor-bike with a pick-up sitting on it!

Relaxing! Very important! Gorgeous wilderness, soaking it in!

Camping!

Amazing architecture!
Eating pizza! Do you mean it's all over and it's back to school, back to routines and programmes and endless driving and appointements and errands and do I sound depressed?!!
As the French say BON COURAGE!! to all those who feel like me!
