The purple dress is finished and she likes it!! Perfect for springtime weather :)

Pfttt grown ups!

My girl is all grown up ,as she declared to me refusing to dress as I wanted her she said, " You know mum , my style is not the same as yours!!!"

Now since when does an 8 year old worry about style ................. She's 8 but really a teenager in disguise!

So out came my sewing machine and opened was my material cupboard and searching for the right pattern; my daughter and I created " THE RIGHT STYLE" !!

These photos are pretty bad , the tunic does look much better on !



...............And this one is still in costruction................ so far she likes it :) Hopefully she wont have another growth spurt before it's finished!!!!

The bag

You might remember this bag i posted about a while ago! It's finished and proudly in the hand of it's new owner, a lovely young lady who was looking for something original to carry her books to school in. I love it when people break out of the status quo !

Step No. 6 set the table and wait for the guests. That's the hardest part!!!!

Rik was a special guest but did he come only for the cake?????!!!!!!!
It was indeed a very Happy Birthday for our little (big) Eve Edelweiss!!!

What time is it?

It's birthday time!! That's right folks, my baby princess is turning 6!!!

No longer a baby ,hein! Ofcourse as any little princess would wish we are having......................................... A PARTY!!!!

Workshop week!

What's happening?
This week in the workshop of my French association"L'Atelier de Beaumont "Its workshop week!
It's school holidays here in France so I decided to offer to all those"I don't know what to do" kids out there craftworkshops nearly every day!
So far it's been fun and the kids are really good. I have no more than 6 kids at a time to give maximum attention to each one!

The progamme includes:deco patch, notice board, simple sewing project and cooking class! More to come later soon....................

Primula

I woke up one grizzly grey day recently and found primula planted IN my house!!!

Was it a fairy or a garden gnome that sneaked in during the night leaving these delightful promises of spring scattered here and there NO ,NO, NO, it was a man ; it was my thoughtful man..............my husband!!!!!!

Let them eat cake!

My little girl LOVES to cook!!! And what she does actually tastes really good! Yesterday she made a book of her favourite recipes. For the moment it includes crépes, apple pie, yoghurt cake....................... Mostly sweet stuff..........
Don't you just love this very pink icing; so girly! Although her brothers were very happy to get their teeth into it!!
